Our family of 5 moved in to a 3 bedroom rental apartment in Tampa (less than 1300 sq ft) after leaving a 4000 sq ft house up North in August, 2013.

After cramming clothing into closets and unpacking a lot, boxes were still stacked to the ceilings in the bathrooms and we were completely overwhelmed. My husband got on-line and found Susan Layden, a professional organizer…

By the end of the two days, all the clothing was hung by color and type. Drawers in our bathrooms and closets were labeled and everything had a place. While I was exhausted, Susan just kept on going until everything was off the floor, including pictures hung and shoes were put away neatly. She brought turntables, mini drawers, and shoe racks. Over the course of 7 months, everything had a place, which was important, since we were all living on top of each other.

In March, 2014, we moved to a new home. We immediately hired Susan, again, to help with the closets and bathrooms. Again, after two days, everything was on hangers and off the floors. Bathrooms were meticulously organized and I knew where everything was. She efficiently uses all the spaces available and creates a system that is easy to follow (even for my 3 kids who don’t want to put anything away!)

It is like getting a whole new house that feels refreshed. When everything has a proper place, I find it is easier to think and remain calm! I only wish I would have known about professional organizers prior to this.

Susan was professional, efficient and very pleasant to be around. This was important because she was there in the middle of what is always one of the biggest stressors, moving, and by the end of her time with us (both times), it felt like we had lived there a lot longer.
