Many in Florida don’t have to deal with sweaters, boots and jackets the same way that those in winter climates have to deal with at the end of Winter, but clutter knows no geography! Spring Cleaning may take on different forms in different parts of the country, but accumulation is accumulation-Floridians have it too.

So if you’ve decided to take on your accumulation this Spring, you may be preparing to tackle opening your closet doors to vast & completely messy racks of clothes that you haven’t worn in months or years. It’s tempting to empty the closet out onto your bed or floor, but before you, consider a tactic that’s going to ensure that you beat the mass of clothes.

Consider this tip of the week from Mary Pankiewicz, Author of Clutter Free & Organized:

“I’ve worked hands-on with so many clients and they all tell me the same thing — they tend to pull everything out of their closets and then they run out of time and they push it all back in, which makes it worse than it was to begin with. So my suggestion to them is to divide and conquer. On a Saturday morning do your shoes, at other times do your slacks. People have told me that breaking it up into small projects has changed their life.’
