Last week, we got started with organizing & decluttering the bathroom. Now that the counter tops are cleared & organized, it’s time to move into the medicine cabinets & drawers.

Before we get started, you’ll need to take a look at your drawers & get some measurements on them. Once you do, it’s time to take trip to Bed, Bath & Beyond or Target & pick up some drawer organizers. You’ll also need a garbage bag, some spray cleaner & paper towels to boot.

Are you ready? Here are your step by step instructions:

  • Remove all the products from your medicine cabinet and vanity and arrange them into their respective piles for the cabinet & the drawer.
  • Once you’ve done that, grab your garbage bag & throw out all expired products or items you haven’t used in several months. This is primarily where your clutter is located.
  • When the cabinet is empty, go ahead & spray and wipe down the shelves and the drawers.
  • Now, place your drawer organizer in the drawer & start regrouping the remaining products back into the organizers based on priority of usage.
  • In your medicine cabinet, start replacing your saved items & place them into the shelves based on priority of usage. The easiest items to access should be the items you use on the most frequent basis.
  • Sprat down the counters & wipe, and you are now good to go!

Next week, we’re moving onto the bathroom closet!
